President-elect Donald Trump helped his son get out of a sticky situation by sending Donald Trump Jr’s fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle to Greece to serve as ambassador.
Trump made the announcement on Tuesday, just hours after Donald Trump Jr. was spotted holding hands with Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson, RadarOnline.com reported.
“Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad,” Trump said of Guilfoyle on his Truth Social app on Tuesday.
“Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation,” Trump Sr. added.
Guilfoyle is a former prosecutor in San Francisco and Los Angeles. She gave up her job as a co-host on “The Five” on Fox News Channel when she started dating Donald Jr, and eventually became his fiancée.
Recently, rumors swirled that Donald Jr., 46, was cheating on Guilfoyle with Anderson, 37. But Trump Sr. fixed the problem by sending Guilfoyle to Greece to get her out of his eldest son’s hair.

“There were a ton of people vying for this [job],” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “It is one of the hottest posts in the world. Not just because it’s an amazing place place to live, but because it’s a hotbed of activity with everything that is happening in Syria, throughout the middle east, and the migrant crisis.”
The insider added: “He wants [Guilfoyle] to represent him on the world stage. She studied international law and will be an amazing spokeswoman for Donald Trump.
“She’ll be the Jackie O of the MAGA movement,” referring to former First Lady Jackie Kennedy.
Guilfoyle was previously married to California Gov. Gavin Newsom, 57.
Donald Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump share five children. He previously dated former singer and reality TV star Aubrey O’Day.
