The Kansas City Chiefs was the favorite to win Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Every sports network had Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs winning easily over Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles.

However, mainstream media outlets were disappointed when the Eagles demolished the Chiefs 40-22.

The Eagles made sure the referees didn’t exert their influence by making sure the game was far out of their reach.

Philadelphia jumped to a 34-0 lead over the Chiefs after leading 24-0 at halftime.

The Chiefs didn’t get on the scoreboard until late in the 3rd quarter. By then it was too late for one of Mahomes’ famous comebacks.

After the game, ESPN disrespected the Eagles by unveiling their early 2025 NFL power rankings for next season.

The Eagles were not listed No. 1, No. 2, or No. 3 on the early 2025 NFL power rankings.

Via MSN — “Despite the Eagles’ dominant win against the Chiefs, Philadelphia wasn’t at No. 1.

They weren’t at No. 2 or No. 3, either. Nope, the Eagles came in at No. 4 in ESPN’s early 2025 NFL power rankings.

Guess who was at No. 1…. That’s right. The Chiefs. The team that Philly ran out of the Superdome on Sunday.”

Hostility towards the Chiefs ran high because fans insisted the fix was in. There were calls to boycott the Super Bowl due to numerous favorable calls for the Chiefs by the referees in previous games.

Ticket prices for America’s biggest sporting event dropped to historic lows.

Fans were tired of hearing about pop superstar Taylor Swift and Chiefs wide receiver Travis Kelce.

Taylor Swift was booed when her face flashed on the big screen at Caesars Superdome. She didn’t appear on the jumbo screen for the rest of the game.

Retired tennis star Serena Williams supported Taylor on X, writing, “I love you @taylorswift13 don’t listen to those booo!!”

President Donald Trump – who also picked the Chiefs to win – took to his Truth Social app to taunt Taylor, saying she “got BOOED out of the stadium…”
