A shouting match between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shocked the world on Friday.
Zelenskyy was invited to the White House to sign a minerals deal, but the meeting quickly deteriorated into a heated exchange.

The shocking blow up occurred when the two leaders couldn’t agree on a ceasefire agreement between Ukraine and Russia. Zelenskyy argued that Russian President Vladimir Putin had broken “his own signature” 25 times on ceasefires.
“The problem is I’ve empowered you to be a tough guy,” Trump said. “And I don’t think you’d be a tough guy without the United States.”

Trump warned Zelenskyy, “You’re gambling with World War III.”
“You’re either gonna make a deal or we’re out – and if you’re out, you’ll fight it out [with Russia],” Trump said.
“I don’t think it’s gonna be pretty… You don’t have the cards. But once we sign that deal, you’re in a much better position,” Trump continued.

Vice President JD Vance (right) argued that Zelenskyy wasn’t grateful for the $350 billion he received from former President Joe Biden.
Vance said: “I think it’s disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office and try to litigate this in front of the American media.”
After reminding Zelenskyy that he has a shortage of soldiers to fight the war with Russia, Vance said, “You should be thanking this president for trying to bring an end to this conflict.”

“You’re not acting at all thankful, and that’s not a nice thing,” Trump told Zelenskyy. “I’ll be honest, that’s not a nice thing.”
Zelenskyy left the White House abruptly without signing the rare-earth minerals deal.
Trump later issued a statement on his Truth Social app:
Trump then canceled a scheduled press conference with Zelenskyy.
