Mrs. Obama and Robinson launched their video podcast, titled IMO, on Monday, promising weekly episodes. IMO is short for “In My Opinion.”

The first two episodes of IMO drew just 4,000 views, but viewership increased to 13,000 views by Thursday.

Popular conservative blogger Benny Johnson tweeted: “Michelle Obama’s first couple podcast episodes absolutely flopped not even getting a combined 20,000 views in the 15 hours after posting. The comments filled with people saying ‘nobody asked for this.'”

Another person tweeted: “Were You One of the 25K That Listened?”

Michelle and Craig discussed his divorce and Michelle’s discomfort being the first-ever Black first lady in the White House.

Michelle told her brother that she wouldn’t have “gotten through” eight years in the White House without her “big brother” to motivate her.

Michelle told the audience that no one in the family “banked on” Barack Obama becoming president.

“‘That’s another sort of unusual aspect to our lives. Our relationship was this whole, you know, being married to the president of the United States thing, that that none of us kind of banked on, I mean we knew Barack was smart and you know ambitious, but, you know, I think – but you talked me into supporting his run,” Michelle explained.

Michelle, 61, added that Craig, 62, was the one who convinced her to support her husband’s first run for president.

“[Barack] was smart enough to know that he needed to come to you and sell you on the idea,” Michelle told Craig.

“Because I was definitely like, no, no way, this is crazy. We’ve done enough crazy stuff.”

Michelle also talked about Barack’s habit of always procrastinating and not being on time.

Barack had to adjust to what on time was… you know, I’ve got this husband who, when it’s time to leave, he’s getting up and going to the bathroom,” Michelle explained.

“And I was like, dude, like 3 three o’clock departure means you’ve done all that,” she said. “It’s like, don’t start looking for your glasses, you know, at the 3:00 departure.”

“He’s improved over 30 years of marriage,” she joked.
