Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams made a bold move to stake her claim on estranged husband Simon Guobadia‘s $7 million mansion in Atlanta.
Simon, 60, is currently locked up in an immigration detention center in Lumpkin, Georgia on an immigration hold for being in the U.S. illegally.
Simon will be locked up for months or even years while his immigration case winds its way through the court system. He may wind up being deported.

Meanwhile, Porsha, 42, is sitting lovely in Simon’s mansion while he sits in jail. An Atlanta judge gave Porsha permission to live in the mansion for three years – as stipulated in her prenup that she signed.
But Simon wants her out of his mansion. He even offered to pay for her to live somewhere else, but she refused.
Now Simon is trying to sell the house as a private listing.
According to StraightfromtheA.com, Porsha’s attorney filed a “Lis Pendens” at the courthouse to stop a potential sale of the house.
A Lis Pendens is a legal document that advises banks and potential buyers that another party has a pending lawsuit on the property.

Porsha filed the document 2 days before Simon was picked up by immigration officials as he arrived at Atlanta airport on a flight from Dubai to attend a hearing about the prenup.

For those unfamiliar, a Lis Pendens isn’t exactly a lien, but it does make things messy for any potential buyers or lenders. It’s often used in divorce cases to prevent assets from being moved around before everything is settled in court.
The real tea? This filing happened mere days before Simon’s unexpected detention by ICE, which only adds fuel to speculation that Porsha may have played a role in tipping off authorities. Coincidence? You decide.

The 5-bedroom, eight-bathroom, 15,284-square-foot estate has been a major point of contention in the couple’s messy divorce. Purchased solely by Simon in 2021, the home is technically his — at least on paper. However, Porsha has made it clear she isn’t moving without a fight.
