Golf legend Tiger Woods officially announced he is dating Donald Trump Jr‘s ex-wife and President Donald Trump’s ex-daughter-in-law Vanessa Trump.
Tiger, 49, and Vanessa, 47, reportedly met in late 2024.
Tiger made the announcement in a post on X/Twitter on Sunday after the mainstream news media ignored rumors of their relationship for weeks.
The golf icon shared images of him and Vanessa posing together.
Tiger captioned the images: “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

That last sentence drew scorn and ridicule.
Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, called Tiger “ridiculous” for asking for privacy.
“Tiger asking for privacy for dating Don Jr ex wife is an all time ridiculous request,” Dave wrote.
A fan wrote: “You ask for privacy while posting to your 6 million followers.”
Among the first people to offer their congratulations was Donald Trump Jr’s sister Ivanka Trump, formerly Vanessa’s sister-in-law.
Ivanka commented on the post “So happy for you both” while adding a number of emojis with love hearts.
Vanessa and Don Jr. share five children – Kai, Chloe, Donald III, Tristan, and Spencer.
Their eldest daughter Kai Trump, 17, attends a $38,000-a-year private school with Tiger’s children Charlie, 16, and Sam, 17.

Kai is also a talented high school golfer.
Tiger shares his son and daughter with a former nanny, Elin Nordegren. They divorced in 2010 after she chased him with a golf club and he crashed his SUV into a tree trying to escape her fury. They fought over his rampant cheating.
Tiger also dated Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn from 2013 to 2015. His last known relationship was with his former restaurant manager Erica Herman.
After Tiger and Erica broke up in 2023, she refused to leave his Florida mansion. So he tricked her into leaving under the guise of going on a “short vacation.”
Erica packed her bag and agreed to meet Tiger at an airport. But instead of meeting Tiger at his private jet, his lawyer met Erica and told her the locks at Tiger’s Jupiter, Florida mansion had been changed and she was officially evicted.
