Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour was in chaos on opening night. Just 2 years after Beyonce’s Renaissance tour broke ticket sales records worldwide, her current Cowboy Carter tour is in complete chaos.

Beyoncé announced her tour after her 2024 country music album, Cowboy Carter, won a Grammy for album of the year.

The much-hyped tour kicked off at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Monday evening. But fans erupted online after Beyoncé performed the National Anthem while wearing an American flag.

Furious fans demanded refunds after Beyoncé performed the “Star Spangled Banner” on opening night. Some fans called the pop Diva “tone deaf” for adding the song to her set list – especially during Donald Trump’s presidency.

One person wrote: “No shade, but with everything going on in our country right now this feels like the last song we should be singing.”

A second fan wrote: “Hell nah. All the Black people in the crowd need to request a refund immediately.”

A third person commented: “Singing the national anthem while our country commits atrocity after atrocity to the Middle East and global south. Going on a tour using Americana aesthetics especially during a time like this… disgusting actually. tone deaf as f— or she literally just doesn’t care.”

“Beyoncé should partially refund everyone” another person chimed in.

Over 3,000 seats remained unsold for opening night at SoFi Stadium, according to Radar Online.

Rap mogul 50 Cent taunted Beyoncé amid reports of struggling ticket sales.

“Sh*t getting real out here,” he wrote on Instagram. “Hey the tickets ain’t selling?”

According to reports, Jay-Z blames resellers for the slow ticket sales. Resellers snapped up the tickets and hiked the prices, but Beyonce’s fans refused to purchase the sky-high tickets.

That caused ticket sales to plunge as resellers panicked.

Some fans say they bought tickets as low as $20 to Beyoncé’s concert in L.A.

As one of the bloggers who was blackballed by Beyoncé’s camp, I’m not surprised by this turn of events. It seems Bey’s demons are finally catching up to her.

As Malcolm X once said, the chickens are coming home to roost.
