Onijah Robinson is very happy to be back at home in New York after being detained in Dubai.
The petite 4′ 10″ social media star was dressed in a pink outfit with hot pink boots during an outing in New York City on Thursday.
Robinson, 33, went viral after she traveled to Pakistan to marry her teenage pen pal in October. But 19-year-old Nidal Ahmed Memon rejected Robinson and told her his family would never accept her.
Robinson refused to give up. She camped outside his home in Karachi, but the family fled their home in the middle of the night.
Robinson was left stranded in Karachi after her tourist visa expired.
Pakistani officials admitted Robinson to a mental hospital for an evaluation. Then they put her on a plane back home.
Somehow, Robinson ended up in Dubai, where officials were less accommodating than the Pakistanis.
However, Robinson denies reports that she was in a Dubai jail.
“I didn’t go to jail, I was just stuck in Dubai,” she told TMZ. “It was a situation that happened in Dubai that I couldn’t get over at the time and that was it. I was there for a month.”
Robinson says she has a manager, an agent, and a “glam squad.”
In a surprising twist, Robinson claimed she and 19-year-old Memon tied the knot after all.
However, Robinson said he remains in Pakistan while she’s back home in New York.
She isn’t sure if she will ever see Memon again.

Robinson took over the internet in 2024 after she traveled to Pakistan to get married, but her fiancé’s family forbade the marriage, leaving Robinson stuck in Pakistan.
