It looks like Chris Brown will be in custody in England for a while. Brown’s bodyguard was spotted shopping at a high-end clothing store in Manchester while the singer/songwriter remains in police custody.

According to reports, the bodyguard bought expensive clothing and shoes for the “Residuals” singer to wear to court.

A BACKGRID photographer snapped Brown’s security guard outside Selfridges, an upscale department store based in the United Kingdom.

Selfridges sells designer clothing and shoes for discriminating men with good taste in fine clothing. The historic flagship store opened in 1909 and takes up an entire block at 400 Oxford Street in London. It is the second-largest retail store chain in the UK.

As earlier reported, Brown, 36, was arrested hours after he arrived on a private jet in Manchester, England on Thursday.

The Metropolitan police stormed the 5-star Lowry Hotel in Manchester and took Brown into custody without resistance. The police were armed with an outstanding warrant for Brown’s arrest.

He is accused of assaulting a music producer, Abe Diaw, at Tape nightclub in London on February 19, 2023.

A lawsuit stated Brown smashed Abe Diaw over the head with a tequila bottle before he punched and kicked Diaw.

Brown is being held in jail without bond.

The incidence of violence is the latest involving the troubled singer over the years.

Brown sued Warner Bros. in January, claiming he was incorrectly portrayed as an abuser in the Warner Bros. documentary, “Chris Brown: A History of Violence.” He is seeking $500 million in damages for defamation.
