Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III is being roasted on social media for saying Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese “hates” Caitlin Clark.
“Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark,” Robert Griffin III said in an episode of his podcast after the WNBA season opener on Saturday.
The 2024 Rookie of the Year fouled Angel in the paint during their much-anticipated game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana on Saturday.

Tempers flared during the 3rd quarter when Caitlin slapped the ball out of Angel’s hand. The foul happened after Angel pushed Indiana Fever center Aliyah Boston in the back to grab the rebound. That foul was not called on Angel.
After Angel’s shameless flop, she jumped up and charged at Caitlin who calmly walked away. “What tf is your problem?” Angel yelled at Caitlin. Angel received a technical foul for abusive language.

Aliyah Boston (3rd from right) was praised for stepping between Angel and Caitlin. But Aliyah was hit with a technical foul for trying to protect the WNBA’s most valuable player!
Caitlin’s common foul was upgraded to a flagrant 1 foul after Angel and her coaches complained to the refs.
The Indiana Fever blew out the Chicago Sky by a score of 93-58. Caitlin scored her 1st triple double of the season – and the third triple-double of her WNBA career.
After the game, Angel refused to comment on Caitlin or the foul. She simply said that it was “A basketball play.”
Angel Reese may be the most petty, insufferable athlete in sports right now…
Her jealously for Caitlin Clark has made her act a fool on and off the court.

Caitlin’s foul on Angel is nothing compared to Chennedy Carter’s brutal hit on Caitlin that ended Chennedy’s WNBA career.

Chennedy Carter now plays pro basketball in Mexico after being blackballed in the WNBA. Angel will soon join Chennedy in Mexico if she doesn’t adjust her attitude. The WNBA can’t afford to lose millions of new viewers because of Angel’s attitude problem.
In an episode of his Outta Pocket with RGIII podcast, Griffin reacted to the incident by calling out Angel Reese’s bitter jealousy and envy of Caitlin Clark.
Griffin said, “Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark. It’s staring us all right in the face, but people are afraid to say it. Won’t answer questions about Caitlin Clark. Gets mad when people praise Caitlin Clark for the explosion of popularity around Women’s Basketball. Celebrates when her teammates flagrantly foul Caitlin Clark.”
Griffin noted that Angel went after Caitlin and tried to punch her. “That’s not just hate. That’s jealousy and resentment,” he said.
“Caitlin Clark is the most popular athlete in America and Angel Reese is the Isiah Thomas to Caitlin Clark’s Michael Jordan,” Griffin added.
He continued: “Over time the hate and resentment has built up from all this. You could see it in her overreaction to the routine basketball play foul. I’m just the one not afraid to say it.”
