Fashion’s biggest event of the year will be held on Monday night in New York City – but one A-list celebrity won’t be in attendance.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell, 54, has been banned from attending the Met Gala amid her ongoing feud with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, 75.
According to reports, the British socialite and actress famously bad mouthed Met Gala host Anna on stage during an industry event.
Last September, Naomi and Anna clashed at the New York Fashion Week ceremony for Harlem’s 17th Annual Fashion Row – where Anna was scheduled to present Naomi with an award.

But Naomi was fashionably late and she kept Anna and everyone else waiting. Anna told the audience: “I am a very punctual person, and I have the honor of presenting tonight to someone who is often late.”
Word got back to Naomi that Anna was at the event dissing her for being late.

Naomi finally arrived over an hour late with a bandage on her knee. But a fed-up Anna had already left.
Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Samira Nasr presented Naomi with the Fashion Icon Award. As Naomi accepted her award, she told the audience: “It wasn’t my choice to have the other lady (Anna), I’d much rather have this one.”
Her comment drew loud gasps from the crowd.
Prior to their feud, Naomi attending the Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art a total of 21 times.

But a source told MailOnline that Naomi was uninvited to the bash this year.
In a video last week, Naomi said she’s done attending the MET.
“It is my last. I can’t… I’m too old. It’s too much for me, the anxiety,” she said.
Naomi is one of only six models to be declared supermodels by the fashion industry and the news media.

The Met Gala theme this year is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. The event will celebrate black icons of every generation.

Icons such as Madonna, Stevie Wonder, and Diana Ross are expected to attend this year. Miss Ross will attend along with her children, Tracee Ellis Ross and Evan Ross.
Music icon Lauryn Hill will also be in attendance, after receiving an invite from Met Gala co-chair Pharrell Williams.

Other Met Gala co-chairs include Colman Domingo (pictured), Lewis Hamilton, and A$AP Rocky. L.A. Lakers star LeBron James is serving as honorary chair.

A source told Page Six that other invited stars include WNBA star Paige Bueckers (right) along with her girlfriend, UConn star Azzi Fudd; actors Angela Bassett and Demi Moore, singers Doechii, Shakira, Lizzo, Mary J. Blige, Lorde, Bebe Rexha, Shaboozey, models Amelia Gray and Ashley Graham.
