“Give It To You” highlights Mya’s enthusiastic appreciation for funk’s golden era in the 1980s. “‘Give It to You,’ is my love letter to a time when music was boldly funky, flirtatious, and utterly unforgettable,” Mya says. “It’s my invitation for everyone to skate, dance, and keep the party going – this vibe is just getting started.”

On “Give It To You,” Mya sings:

“You know that I’m a classy lady
But I just gotta keep it real (I wanna give it to ya’)
You walk by, I get so elated
And I think that you should know the deal whoa.”
