Brandy & Monica added Florida dates to their long-awaited “The Boy Is Mine” tour. The added dates mean demand is high for tickets to their tour.
Brandy announced the additional dates on her Instagram page on Monday.
She wrote: “FLORIDA. The Boy Is Mine Tour is almost here and we are so excited to announce three new dates in Tampa, Miami and Jacksonville. AMEX presale begins tomorrow. Can’t wait to see you in December.”
One of Brandy’s followers asked about European tour dates.
The fan wrote: “Since you’ll listening…European Tour dates for 2026!? [sic]”
The Grammy-winning duo confirmed their first-ever tour together on “CBS Mornings” on June 24. They originally announced their intention to tour together in 2024.
“They were trying to get us to do a tour since ’98 and it just finally felt like the right time,” Brandy said at the time. “It was a dream come true.”
Monica called her partnership with Brandy a “musical marriage.”
The tour came about after they kissed and made up. Rumor had it that Monica punched Brandy in the face during a dispute years ago.
“We created the communication and the relationship to do it,” Monica said.
“The Boy Is Mine” was the lead single off Monica’s second studio album of the same name in 1998. The Boy Is Mine album was certified triple platinum.
The single, featuring a duet with Monica and Brandy, was a smash hit. It became the best-selling song of the year with 2.6 million copies sold and the song remained at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 13 weeks.
The 24-city arena tour kicks off on Oct. 16 in Cincinnati.
