Candace Owens doubled down on her claim that French first lady Brigitte Macron is a man. French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, filed a lawsuit against Owens in Delaware on Wednesday, July 23.
Owens responded to the lawsuit during her podcast on Wednesday. She explained that she had just been served with the lawsuit and she is ready to battle the couple in court.
Defendants usually have 30 days to respond to a lawsuit or a default judgment will be filed in favor of the plaintiff.
Owens stated she would stake her “entire professional career” on proving Brigitte is a man.
Addressing Brigitte during her podcast, Owens said, “You were born a man and you will die a man.”

The Macrons stated in their lawsuit that Owens’ claims are “demonstrably false” and defamatory. They alleged that Owens pushed the false claims on social media in “pursuit of fame.”
Included in their lawsuit are photos of Brigitte when she was young and newspaper announcements of her birth, as well as the fact that she gave birth to three children with her first husband.
But Owens dismissed the Macrons’ denials and their photo evidence.
“I think you’re sick. I think you’re disgusting. And I am fully prepared to take on this battle on behalf of the entire world,” Owens said. “I will see you in court.”
