Jay-Z’s rumored son Rymir Satterthwaite dropped his lawsuit on Wednesday after suspicious activity on the court docket on July 18.

Rymir, 32, filed his latest lawsuit against Jay-Z earlier this year. He asked the court to force Jay-Z to submit his DNA for testing.

On July 18, Jay-Z‘s lawyers demanded the case be dismissed and the rap mogul accused Rymir of harassing him for over a decade.

This week, Rymir claimed “edits” were made to his court documents in the middle of the night on July 18.

An X user who has knowledge of the case wrote: “Rymir was forced to withdraw his case after suspicious court activity! Docket edits were made BEFORE the defense filed, and the gov’t got involved. The court tried to merge his case with Dr Coley’s to dismiss both! New legal action is coming.”

The user added: “The court then attempted to combine Rymir’s complaint with a completely different case against Dr. Coley. Why? Because merging cases allows judges to throw them all out at once. That’s how you silence truth in bulk.”

Dr. Coley is Lillie Coley, Rymir’s godmother who raised him after his mother died. According to the source, the judge ordered both of their cases combined and both cases will be dismissed together.

Rymir, who is representing himself, plans to file another lawsuit against Jay-Z alleging he had intimidate relations with Rymir’s mother when she was underage.

Rymir wrote in a post on X: “Hello changes were made to my case on July 18, 2025 about 330pm PST (california time -receipt). This was done due to changes made to my case we were not aware of. We will explain soon but its all about my mother now.”

It sounds like Rymir’s decade-long paternity case against Jay-Z is over.
