Tyson Beckford, 54, says “karma” hit Wendy Williams because she gossiped too much about him and other celebrities.
Wendy, 61, lost her daytime talk show and was diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. A judge appointed guardianship over her when a family member withdrew large amounts of money from her Wells Fargo Bank account.
Wendy is currently waging a battle to end her guardianship and reclaim her independent life. In January, she fired her court-appointed attorney and hired a new lawyer to help her get out of her guardianship.
During a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Tyson said Wendy’s misfortunes were karma for gossiping about him and others.
Rumors spread that Tyson, a former underwear model, was ghey. Tyson claims Wendy started the rumor that he is ghey or bisexual.
“She’s not around no more, not on the radio no more… that one started the rumor,” he said.
“I don’t know why she started that rumor on me, but, you know what? Karma hit yo’ ass. Good for you,” Tyson said in reference to Wendy.
“Her karma’s come to her. You’re just talking people’s business, making up stuff,” Tyson said.
Breakfast Club co-host Charlamagne was Wendy’s co-host on The Wendy Williams Experience on 107.5 WBLS at the time when the rumors about Tyson spread.
