Phoenix police arrested a teenager and charged him with assault for throwing a green d*ldo that struck a man and his 9-year-old niece at a WNBA game.

Kaden Lopez, 18, was taken into custody by Phoenix police on Tuesday, Aug. 5, after an arena volunteer witnessed the incident, followed Lopez and tackled him to hold him for police.

“Video footage shows Lopez, sitting in his seat, he retrieves the green d*ldo from his sweater front pocket then throws the dildo forward. He then stands up and leaves the area,” a court document stated.

The object hit a man who was seated in the stands with his niece. The object never reached the court.

The man said he wanted Lopez to be prosecuted.

Lopez appeared in court on Wednesday to face charges of suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault and public display of explicit xesual material.

Authorities say Lopez was cooperative and admitted purchasing the toy the day before the game.

“Ultimately, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will make the final decision on prosecution,” a police department department spokesperson said.
