Update: Gwinnett County police are investigating the fatal shooting of rapper T-Hood as a case of self-defense.
T-Hood, real name Tevin Hood, was fatally shot at his home on Lee Road in unincorporated Snellville, Georgia, on August 8. He was 33.
Police identified Ky Frost, son of Kirk and Rasheeda Frost, as the shooter.
Ky Frost, T-Hood and Ky’s half-sister Kelsie Frost lived in the home purchased by Kirk and Rashida Frost. There was a domestic altercation and Kelsie suffered “physical injuries,” according to an incident report.
Ky arrived at the home after the altercation ended. He reportedly shot T-Hood in self-defense.

Ky (pictured with his mother Rasheeda) remained at the home after the shooting. Police said the “case is being investigated as a possible self-defense shooting” and “there is no evidence to suggest the involvement of additional parties beyond those residing in the home.”
Ky is not on the run. Both he and witnesses continue to cooperate with investigators, according to Atlanta News First.

Ky (right) is Rasheeda and Kirk’s eldest child. They also have an 11-year-old son named Karter. Kirk has six children, including his eldest child, Kelsie Frost (left) from a previous relationship.
T-Hood’s family members say Kelsie Frost set up T-Hood.
Kelsie, 30, vigorously denied the allegations in a now-deleted post on Instagram.

Kelsie said T-Hood was shot multiple times in a previous incident and he was recovering when he was killed.
“The love of my life is GONE. the man I lay with and cuddle every single night…is no longer here,” she wrote. “So as I want to ask for respect and privacy I won’t because I will always defend my baby. I don’t condone this sht in anyway shape form or fashion. I am sick to my stomach. I don’t wish this on any one.”
