Kelsie Frost, the daughter of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star Kirk Frost and stepdaughter of Rasheeda Frost, allegedly implicated her half-brother in the murder of local rapper T-Hood.
According to Gwinnett County police, T-Hood, real name Tevin Hood, was fatally shot at his home in unincorporated Snellville, Georgia, on August 8. He was 33.
T-Hood’s family took to social media after the murder to accuse Kelsie Frost of setting him up.
T-Hood’s mother, two sisters, Maysia and Jayda, and his daughter’s mother, Ebony Jai, all allege that Kelsie played a role in his death.
Audio of an alleged phone call between Kelsie and T-Hood’s mom suggests that Kelsie told police her brother Ky Frost killed her boyfriend.
Gwinnett County police initially took Ky into custody and questioned him, but he was released.
In the audio, a woman believed to be T-Hood’s mother is heard asking a woman believed to be Kelsie why Ky was released from custody if Kelsie told them that he killed T-Hood.
“They’re supposed to have him [detained],” the woman told Kelsie.
“Ok, so I don’t know what’s going on but I’ma find out,” said the woman.
“Yeah please do. I am asking the same questions,” said a female voice on the phone believed to be Kelsie.
Kelsie denied the alleagations in a lengthy post-and-delete message on Instagram.
She captioned the post, “Please please be so [for real]! I know I can’t beat the internet And rumors but playing on my name when it comes to my man I’m not goin. AT ALL!!!!!! I know this something to talk about for y’all but this is real life for me. No, I’m not okay!!!!”
T-Hood’s sister Maysia posted on Instagram: “Let’s be real! If you loved my brother like you say you do why not tell ya people at the police department what really happened. Your brother shot him while he was walking away. Point blank Period say yo truth like u say you wanna do.”
Meanwhile, Kirk and Rasheeda Frost have since lawyered up and refuse to speak with T-Hood’s family members.
T-Hood’s family members say the Frosts are using their star power and connections within law enforcement to shield their 24-year-old son, Ky (pictured right).
Ky deleted all of his Instagram posts and has gone into hiding.
