T-Hood’s mother took to social media to criticize the Gwinnett County Police Department’s self-defense claims after her son was brutally murdered.
T-Hood, real name Tevin Hood, was killed at his home in unincorporated Snellville, Georgia on August 8. The 33-year-old aspiring artist was known for local rap hits like “Perculator,” “Big Booty,” and “Ready 2 Go.”
The fatal incident occurred during a dispute between T-Hood and his girlfriend Kelsie Frost.
Kelsie is the 30-year-old daughter of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star Kirk Frost, 56, and stepdaughter of LHHATL star Rasheeda Frost, 49.

Police say Ky Frost, the 24-year-old son of the Love & Hip-Hop stars, arrived at the home after the dispute had ended.
Kelsie suffered physical injuries to her face, police say.
After exchanging words with T-Hood, Ky allegedly shot him in the back.
Police say Ky acted in self-defense when he shot T-Hood. Ky, T-Hood, and Kelsie lived in the home owned by Kirk and Rasheeda.
T-Hood’s mother, Yulanda Hood said her son was “walking away” when he was shot 5 times in the back.

“He was walking away and got 5 shots in his back,” she wrote in a social media post. “People this is serious. We will not let this ride. I need everyone to post up. We will not be defeated. I know you’re watching telling me to keep fighting for you. I love you my celebrity. Justice for THood.”
In a previous post, Yulanda accused Kirk and Rasheeda of using their celebrity status and connections within the police department to protect their son.
Kelsie initially denied reports that she called Ky to the home to confront T-Hood after their fight.
“I can’t sit back and let this narrative being created go on. The love of my life is GONE,” she wrote in a now-deleted post on Instagram. “The man I lay with and cuddle every single night… is no longer here. So as I want to ask for respect and privacy I won’t because I will always defend my baby. I don’t condone this sht in anyway shape form or fashion. I am sick to my stomach. I don’t wish this on any one.”
