Update: A California jury found Cardi B not liable in an assault lawsuit filed by a former security guard.

Cardi won’t have to pay any damages, according to TMZ. And she plans to counter sue anyone who files a frivolous lawsuit against her in the future.

Cardi B lashed out at a blogger who asked her if she anticipated any “paternity issues” with Stefon Diggs after Offset claimed to be the father of her unborn baby.

The incident happened on Tuesday, Sept. 2, as Cardi left the courthouse for lunch on day 6 of her civil trial in Alhambra, California.

The rapper is being sued for $24 million by a former security guard who claimed Cardi B assaulted her at a doctor’s office in 2018.

Video obtained by TMZ shows Cardi throwing a marker at the blogger before telling him, “That’s for disrespecting me. Don’t disrespect me!”

The man told Cardi that “insiders” claim Offset bragged about fathering her fourth child.

The man continued: “Do you foresee any paternity issues with Stefon Diggs?”

That’s when Cardi B threw the marker at him.

The man told Cardi, “I still love you even though you just threw some stuff at me.”

Cardi said, “I don’t care.” She repeated that he was being “disrespectful” to her.

“Do you see women asking those type of questions to me? Why do you feel that as a man, you guys can ask me those type of questions? Act like you have some manners and your mama taught you respect.”

The man was barred from entering the courtroom to cover the trial’s closing arguments.

Cardi B looked noticeably pregnant as she arrived at the courthouse. She wore a polka dot pantsuit with a matching blouse.
