The Internet claims Taylor Swift dissed Nicki Minaj on her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. The album dropped at midnight on Friday, Oct. 3.
If a superstar like Taylor disses the top female rapper in the game, does that mean it’s curtains for Nicki?
Rappers Nicki and Cardi B exchanged insults and threats on X (Twitter) for a week now.
Cardi referred to Nicki as “cocaine Barbie” on X (Twitter).
But it seems Taylor Swift has tagged herself into their battle on her new album.
On a track titled “Actually Romantic,” Taylor sings:
“I heard you call me ‘Boring Barbie’ when the coke’s got you brave
High-fived my ex and then you said you’re glad he ghosted me
Wrote me a song saying it makes you sick to see my face
Some people might be offended
But it’s actually sweet.”
Cardi B previously claimed Nicki was on drugs, including cocaine, which aggravated her schizophrenia and bipolar disorders.
Cardi has since apologized to Nicki and her son, Papa Bear, for insulting them.
But how wild is it that Taylor apparently dissed Nicki, too?
Will Nicki come back at Taylor? Can she handle Taylor’s rabid fan base if she does?
