Charlie Kirk’s grieving widow Erika Kirk and Vice President JD Vance sparked cheating rumors after they hugged at a Turning Point USA event last week.

Vice President JD Vance provided emotional support to Erika and her children after Charlie Kirk was fatally shot at a Turning Point USA event in Orem, Utah on Sept. 10.

“No one will ever replace my husband,” she told the crowd. “But I do see some similarities of my husband in JD — in Vice President JD Vance. I do. And that’s why I am so blessed to be able to introduce him tonight.”

Then Erika and JD embraced on stage as the audience cheered.

Speculation ran wild that Erika and the vice president were having an affair. X (Twitter) users analyzed the hug and said they were being “inappropriate.”

Also present at the event was the vice president’s wife, second lady Usha Vance.

One X user compared photos of Usha before and after the 2024 elections to imply she’s a long-suffering wife.

Others defended Erika and JD. They said it was simply an embrace between 2 friends.

One person shared separate images of Erika embracing JD and his wife, Usha, and wrote: “Are you sick freaks suggesting she’s being inappropriate with Usha, too? Because it’s the exact same damn hug.”
