Olympic gymnast Sunisa “Suni” Lee is going viral for being honest about her type of men. The 22-year-old Olympic gold medalist nearly broke the Internet for describing her type of man who “can take care of me and all my friends.”
Suni Lee made the statement on the Ha Sisters’ Haha Podcast. When questioned about her type, Suni didn’t hesitate.
“I feel like my type is like athletes,” she said. “I like a very emotionally intelligent man, like… somebody who’s very caring, not just about me, but also about the people around me. Like, if we go out and you’re only worried about me, I’m going to be mad, because I need you to be able to take care of me and all my friends.”

Suni said she’s turned off by guys who act immature. “You’re 5, 6 years older than me and you act like that… I act older than you. I’m 22.”
When asked about the oldest man she would date, Suni said 5 years older is her limit. She also likes funny guys who make her laugh.
Suni blew up after her debut at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15. She joined Chicago Sky star Angel Reese as the first athletes to walk the runway in the history of Victoria’s Secret.
Like Angel, Suni caught a lot of heat for being in the fashion show when she’s not a real model.
“Honestly, there was just a lot of people mad because I’m not tall and skinny or wasn’t a real model,” she told PEOPLE exclusively.
