American playwright, actor and screenwriter Jeremy O. Harris (left) was released from police custody three weeks after his arrest in Japan for drug smuggling.

The “Emily in Paris” star, 36, was arrested on Nov. 16 after an airport official found drugs in his travel bag at Naha Airport.

He was released from custody on Monday, the Tomishiro police department told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Harris’ detainment wasn’t reported until last week. Japanese law allows investigators to keep a suspect in custody for up to 23 days before indictment.

Reality TV star Jen Shah, 52, was also released from custody. “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star departed the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, early Wednesday, Dec. 10.

She was indicted in March 2021 for her involvement in a telemarketing fraud scheme that stole money from thousands of elderly people.

After pleading guilty in July 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, Jen was sentenced to 6.5 years behind bars.

Former “Family Matters” star Darius McCrary, 49, is temporarily a free man. The actor walked out of the Oakland County Jail in Michigan on Monday, his rep tells TMZ.

Border patrol officers arrested McCrary near the US-Mexico border on a bench warrant out of Michigan for failing to pay child support.

McCrary’s rep, Ann Barlow, says McCrary entered a no-contest plea to five felony charges ahead of his sentencing. He must return to a Michigan court for sentencing in February 2026.
