Update: Rapper Pooh Sheisty is back in custody in Dallas, Texas, just 3 months after his early release from federal prison.
The aspiring rapper, born Lontrell Dennell Williams Jr, was released from a federal prison in October after serving 3 years for conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes.
He was released 2 years early for good behavior.
As soon as his feet hit the pavement, Williams began flirting with fellow rapper Cardi B by writing, “I love u” on one of her Instagram posts.
The 26-year-old Memphis native also tried to shout at Cardi B from behind bars. But she ignored him.

According to reports, Williams is back in federal custody with a pending release date of April 2027. It isn’t clear what crime he committed this time.
The news shocked his fans who took to X (Twitter) to show support for their fave.

Williams was arrested in 2021 after dropping stacks of cash at the scene of a shooting outside a Miami strip club in 2020.
Police monitoring his Instagram page saw him flashing money in a video.
They matched serial numbers on the money to the cash that he dropped outside the club.
In January 2022, Williams pleaded guilty to the October 2020 shooting incident. He faced life in prison, but he accepted a plea deal for 5 years behind bars.
Williams was an independent rapper before signing with Gucci Mane’s 1017 record label in April 2020.
