Singer Kelly Rowland is the latest celebrity to join actor-activist Mark Ruffalo’s “QuitGPT” campaign to boycott OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Reality TV star Porsha Williams also joined the QuitGPT movement.

Mark launched the QuitGPT boycott movement in early February, after he learned OpenAI execs donated to a pro-Trump super PAC.

Branded “QuitGPT,” the campaign urges users to cancel their ChatGPT subscriptions and delete the app from their phones.

Organizers claim 700,000 people joined the QuitGPT boycott movement so far.

“ChatGPT’s president is Trump’s biggest donor,” Mark wrote in a post on Instagram. “Their tech powers ICE. It’s time to boycott: QUITGPT.”

He captioned the post: “To every artist who wants to fight back against AI and stand with Minneapolis: this is your chance. Join us at quitgpt.org.”

In a follow-up post, he wrote: “There are other chat apps you can use that are actually just as good, or cheaper or more private that don’t fund evil in the world. Lumo from ProtonMail comes to mind but also DuckDuckGo. I am sure there are so many more.”
