Transgender activist Dominique Morgan (Ts Madison’s former business partner) pled guilty to stealing nearly $100,000 from a Brooklyn nonprofit’s bail fund.
Prosecutors accused the trans activist of spending the stolen cash on clothes, a $19,000 luxury closet renovation, and monthly payments on a Mercedes-Benz.
Morgan pled guilty to grand larceny and falsifying 23 business records in the Kings County Supreme Criminal Court in Brooklyn on February 11, 2026.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 29, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. Morgan faces up to 15 years in prison.

Morgan, 45, earned $200,000 as executive director of the nonprofit Okra Project, an organization that bails indigent transgender defendants out of jail.
Morgan was fired from the Okra Project, but Ts Madison gave Morgan a job managing the Madison Starter House in the Atlanta area.

Madison’s former home was converted into housing and resources for transgender people in the Atlanta area.
Morgan managed the Starter House, which opened in 2024, according to Forbes.
Madison, 48, told Forbes, “When I first came up with the idea to donate my first house to charity, I thought about how I moved to Atlanta homeless, broke, poor, sick from silicone poisoning, and with no sense of direction or place to go. One of my trans sisters took me in and became like a second mother to me. She motivated me and gave me the tools to start over and make it on my own.”
