Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is out of a job.
The New England Patriots released him just weeks after the team’s brutal loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl.
New England reportedly told Stefon he will be released on March 11, according to CBS NFL insider Jonathan Jones.
Stefon scrubbed his entire Instagram page, after unfollowing the Patriots’ social media account.
Then the news broke that Stefon won’t be playing for the Patriots in 2026.

He posted a message to fans on his Instagram Story, saying “THANK YOU for a hell of a year. We family forever.”
Stefon was just one year into a three-year, $63.5 million contract. The team cut him because he was set to make an additional $6 million on March 13.

The father-of-8 recently broke up with rapper Cardi B, who accompanied him to the Super Bowl in February. The couple split after he invited his ex-girlfriends and at least one of his baby mamas to the big game.
Stefon’s private life and legal troubles were a source of concern for the Patriots.
He was recently arrested for allegedly assaulting his former live-in chef.
Cardi B asked the woman not to press charges against her baby daddy. She shares an infant son with the prolific breeder.
Stefon was arraigned on charges of felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault last month. He was ordered to stay away from the woman.
Cardi B dissed Stefon during a recent stop on her concert tour (see video below).
