Cheryl urged fans to investigate the companies they patronize. “Find out who they are, what their practices are. What their beliefs are,” she said.

“I know we love certain brands, but do we know their history?” she continued. She asked fans if they know who own their banks. She said they can close the banks whenever they want to.
