Kandi Burruss regrets opening multiple businesses with her estranged husband Todd Tucker. “Having all those different businesses has been a stressful situation,” she said during a recent appearance on the “Question Everything” podcast.

Kandi said she wants to focus on the creative side now that she’s getting a divorce. “Doing things together is – we not on the same page. I just want to go back to my creative space.”

One of those businesses is their restaurant, Blaze Steak & Seafood, named after their 6-year-old daughter.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, a judge ordered Kandi and Todd to pay $140,000 to their former landlord based on a settlement they reached over the debt for back rent.

Their company, Burruss Tucker Restaurant Group, agreed to pay the landlord $140,509.10 for rent and remediation costs.

Kandi and Todd had been battling the landlord for a year. The court found that Kandi and Todd’s restaurant had entered into a valid and binding settlement agreement with the landlord to pay the $140,000. But Kandi’s company filed counterclaims against the landlord over the lease.

TMZ reports the court found that the settlement resolved all those claims, and Kandi and Todd agreed to pay $140,000.

Actually, Kandi will be paying the settlement, since Todd is so broke that he’s living in Riley Burruss’ old apartment attached to Kandi’s $1.7 million mansion in Southwest Atlanta.
