Military officials are investigating an Apache Army helicopter fly-by at Kid rock’s Nashville home, which he dubbed the “Southern White House”.

Kid Rock shared videos on March 28 that show him standing next to a replica of the Statue of Liberty as he clapped and saluted the helicopter.

He captioned one video: “This is a level of respect that sh-t for brains Governor of California will never know. God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her.”

Some X.com users thought the videos were AI.

However, a spokesperson for Fort Campbell confirmed the videos are real and an investigation is underway into the helicopter fly-bys at Kid Rock’s home.

Taxpayers expressed outrage at the expensive “stunt” conducted for the rapper’s amusement.

One person wrote on X.com: “Nothing shows respect for our military like having them do a fly-by at your pool with two Apaches so you can wave and post on social media. (Operating expense is $5000 per hour, per aircraft, PLUS the crew’s time and pay.)”

Another person wrote: “Why are we paying for helicopters to do drive bys for your own amusement?”

A third person commented: “Please tell me how standing in your shorts, being all giddy about a Black Hawk in front of your house, is any sign of respect? Please remind me where you served?”

A fourth person wrote: “Wow how much tax money was blown on this?”
