Sheriff’s deputies found 2 hydrocodone pills in his pocket at time of his arrest on March 27.

Woods blew zero on a breathalyzer test at the scene. But he refused to take a urinalysis test.

Woods was described as “slow and lethargic” and “sweating profusely” at the scene.

“Based on my observations of Woods, how he performed the exercises and based on my training, knowledge, and experience, I believed that Woods normal faculties were impaired, and he was unable to safely operate the motor vehicle,” the deputy wrote after the tests.

Woods told police he was distracted by his phone and radio before he clipped a trailer being towed by a pickup truck.

No one was injured in the accident. Woods told officers he took pain killers that morning.

When asked how many pills he took, Woods said, “I take a few.”

The 50-year-old golfer said he had undergone seven back surgeries and over 20 leg operations over the years.

In 2017, he pleaded guilty to reckless driving and agreed to enter a DUI diversion program. He was placed on probation for 12 months, and had to serve 50 hours of community service.

A drug test revealed five drugs in his system, including two painkillers in 2017.
