Pinky Cole’s first season on Real Housewives of Atlanta has gotten off to a rocky start. The Slutty Vegan restaurant founder’s home was seized by a creditor and the locks changed.

Additionally, the landlord for two of her Slutty Vegan locations filed a lawsuit saying she owed $87,000 in back rent.

Pinky, whose real name is Aisha Cole, filed for bankruptcy earlier this month.

According to court documents obtained by Channel 2 Action News and TMZ, Pinky’s home was seized by creditor Guardian Asset Management.

“On February 20, 2026, Guardian seized the Property, changed the locks, and put a notice on a street-facing window,” said the court document. “When it is available for sale, arrangements to inspect the property may be made through a real estate broker of your choice. The property may not be entered until it is offered for sale.”

Pinky’s home was seized before her bankruptcy filing. The bankruptcy prevents creditors from seizing her property and bank accounts.

According to the court documents, Cole’s attorney, Jamie Christy, called Guardian Asset Management and told them that their “actions violated the automatic stay, and that Guardian must return the Property to Debtor.”

Her lawyer also mailed a letter to Guardian stating the same.

In a statement to TMZ, Christy said, “This was an investment property that was unlawfully seized from Ms. Cole. This unlawful seizure violated the automatic stay imposed in Ms. Cole’s bankruptcy case.”

Guardian refused to return the house. An emergency hearing in the matter is set for Thursday, March 26, in federal court, Channel 2 News reports.

The Real Housewives franchise features affluent women who show off their glamorous lifestyles including homes, cars, diamonds and designer clothing.

But Pinky’s debt-filled life is the opposite of affluence.

Court filings show she owes $1.2 million to the U.S. Small Business Administration and another $192,000 to the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Fans of Real Housewives of Atlanta say Pinky’s situation is a “humiliation ritual”.

Pinky’s husband, Derrick Hayes, owns Big Dave’s Cheesesteak in Atlanta.

Last year, the couple’s Bentley was stolen after Derrick parked outside one of their restaurants. 2 Atlanta men were charged by police.

In a trailer for the upcoming season of RHOA (below), Pinky says “I’m one of the most powerful entrepreneurs in America.”
