Ye hired Tony Saxon in 2021 to renovate his Malibu Beach house. The handyman said Ye promised to pay him $20,000 a week to renovate the 3-story oceanfront mansion.

Saxon claims he received only one payment and he was fired after raising safety concerns at the construction site.

Saxon filed his lawsuit in 2023, claiming he was unfairly terminated after 7 weeks on the job. Saxon said he performed duties including demolition, project management, and security work at the site.

He claims he severely injured his back and neck while on the job and Ye failed to secure workers’ compensation for the project.

Ye purchased the house in 2021 for $57 million. The house did not have walls, bathrooms or plummbing while it was being renovated.

He sold the house in 2024 for $24 million at a huge loss.

Ye’s attorney, Andrew Cherkasky accused Saxon of committing fraud. He asked the judge to toss the case. The judge didn’t rule on the request on Thursday.

While testifying on the stand, Saxon denied telling a psychiatrist in December 2021 that he voluntarily quit his job. He continued to deny quitting after Cherkasky confronted him with the psychiatrist’s notes.

Ye’s wife, Bianca Censori surprised photographers when she arrived to court Thursday fully dressed.

She wore a black long sleeve knit top and a black maxi skirt with silver heels. Her hair was pulled back in a slick bun and she wore black half-rim glasses for a studious look.

Bianca also testified in court. She said she wasn’t involved in the renovation project and she didn’t have much contact with Saxon.

Before testimony started, Judge Brock T. Hammond reminded everyone to comply with the dress code in his courtroom.

“The parties and witnesses you’re calling must comply with the basic dress code of the court,” the judge said.

It seems the judge is aware of Bianca’s habit of wearing barely any fa when she’s out & about with her husband.

The judge specifically warned against wearing hats, sunglasses, or revealing clothing in his courtroom. He added that anyone who failed to comply would be ejected from the courtroom.

“If a witness is not dressed appropriately, they will be turned around at the door,” the judge stated.
