Roc Nation’s insurance carrier filed a lawsuit against Chief Executive Officer Desiree Perez for allegedly filing a claim to pay her legal fees.

New York Marine and General Insurance Company asked a judge to rule the carrier isn’t obligated to pay Perez’s attorney’s fees in her ongoing legal battle with her daughter, Demoree Hadley.

The new lawsuit comes after Desiree attempted to use Roc Nation’s insurance company to pay her mounting legal fees in connection with Demoree’s lawsuit.

The insurance company argued that Desiree isn’t even considered “insured” by them because she isn’t being sued in relation to her job at Roc Nation. Demoree’s claims against her mother are a personal a family dispute.

Demoree filed a lawsuit in May 2025, accusing her mother of involuntarily committing her to a psychiatric ward under Florida’s Baker Act.

Desiree asked a judge to hold Demoree in contempt of court for allegedly violating a gag order restricting public comments about the lawsuit.

Demoree sat for an interview with YouTuber Tasha K to discuss the case. Desiree asked the court to force Tasha K to take down the interview.

In her lawsuit, Demoree Hadley accused Desiree of hacking her electronic devices, recording her illegally, and having her involuntarily committed under Florida’s Baker Act.

In related news, blogger Milagro Gramz claims she heard that another blogger, Loren LoRosa, contacted someone to write negative posts about her.

Milagro wrote on X.com on Tuesday: “A blogger is accusing you of contacting them trying to encourage them to post negatively about me. Is this true? .@LorenLorosa.”

If you recall, Megan Thee Stallion sued Milagro for allegedly taking money from Tory Lanez’s father to write negative posts about her.
