Republican attorneys general in 32 states are floating the idea of removing President Biden from state ballots after controversial Trump ruling in Colorado.

Former President Trump was disqualified by Colorado’s highest court in a 4-3 decision on Tuesday. The state Supreme Court ruled that Trump’s speech on January 6 in the U.S. Capitol “constituted overt, voluntary and direct participation in the insurrection” by his supporters.

However, legal scholars say the ruling is unconstitutional and Trump was never charged or convicted of insurrection.

The Colorado justices stayed their own ruling until Jan. 4, 2024, meaning Trump’s name is still on the primary ballot until the U.S. Supreme Court agrees to hear the case.

Since Colorado’s Democrat justices put the cart before the horse, Republican AGs are going tit-for-tat.

32 Republican attorneys general are floating the idea of disqualifying Biden from their state ballots — even though the president has not been charged or convicted of any crimes.

“We can remove Joe Biden from the ballot in Florida,” said Florida governor and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis.

“Could we just say that Biden can’t be on the ballot because he let in 8 million illegals into the country, and violated the Constitution?” Gov. DeSantis asked at a campaign event in Iowa.

Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick also said, “We can remove Joe Biden from the ballot in Texas.”

“Seeing what happened in Colorado makes me think … maybe we should take Joe Biden off the ballot in Texas for allowing 8 million people to cross the border since he’s been president, disrupting our state far more than anything anyone else has done in recent history,” Lt. Gov. Patrick told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Tuesday night.
