Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast member Moniece Slaughter (Fizz‘s baby mama) was a trending topic on Twitter.com last night, after fighting with another cast member (Fizz’s girlfriend).
When the season started I recall hearing that Fizz had full custody of his and Moniece’s young son, Cameron. After viewing Moniece’s Instagram page, it is easy to see why Fizz has full custody.
Statistics show that over the last 40 years more black unmarried females were head of households in the black community. This disparity has resulted in a new breed of confused black boys who grow up to exhibit more feminine traits than their mothers.
The problem isn’t just that these women are single mothers. The problem begins when these women force their young sons to be the perfect boyfriends they wish they had.
It’s easy to see where little Cameron’s life is headed, as his mother forces him to assume the very grown up role of her boyfriend over whom she has complete dominance.

As a single mother raising a little boy (who have lots of male role models in his life, including his dad) I understand both sides of the coin. When you have a little boy you want to love him and protect him and nurture them so that they do not grow up to be some of the a-holes that you know and may be part of their DNA. I know with my son at times I try to be tough but out of the blue he would come and say I love you mommy, give your boy a hug and your heart melts. As a female I know we cannot teach a boy how to be a man and though at times I hate when my nephew and brothers say they are toughening him I allow it and I even stop myself at times from comforting him when he complains about insignificant ish because I dont want him to think that it would be cute to whine and complain everytime things do not go his way in life.

It was working getting him there. When he was younger, we hugged and I kissed him all the time, but once we were in Walmart and I tried to hug him and he pulled away. Turns out he saw his classmates.
I knew then that I had work to do. Not because I needed a kiss, but because I needed HIM to know that he is to NEVER be ashamed of me. He is never to be ashamed of me. He is NEVER to dumb himself down because of what someone else thinks. That kind of $hit (in my head) made me feel like, “If he’s worried about what people think and adjusting his norm at this stage, he’s going to grow up and be concerned about being called a punk because he won’t try weed, or drank, so I’m going to raise your a$$ to understand that what other people think about you is of no consequence.
From that day forward, I’d get out of my car when I dropped him off and then call every student I knew to look while I hugged and held and kissed the hell out of him. He used to be too shame. But then he started laughing about it and shaking his head at me because I’d do it at the mall, in the parking lot at church, wherever there were people – his a$$ would take off running because he knew I was going to get one in. LOL
