A South Carolina mother is hitting back at insensitive and immature Internet trolls who taunted her sick baby and turned her stolen photograph into cruel Internet memes.
Mariah Anderson’s mother, Kyra Pringle, believes a Facebook “friend” copied a photo of her 2-year-old from her Facebook page and turned it into an Internet meme which has been shared across social media platforms.
From Fox 6 Now:
Mariah Anderson was born with Chromosome Two Duplication Syndrome — a rare disorder that impairs her learning and motor skills. Her life expectancy is grim. Which is why her mother, Kyra Pringle, was horrified when she learned that a photo of her daughter had become an internet joke.
Mariah recently celebrated her second birthday and her mother posted her photo to Facebook. After the photo was posted, thousands of people began to share it online. Some photo-shopping crude captions — others leaving rude comments.
“If you’re out there and you’re doing these things, and you think that it’s funny, it’s not funny,” said Linda Pringle, Mariah’s grandmother, “This is actually a human being, this is a child, this is a baby.”
The problem with ignorant Internet hood rats is not that they have cell phones and can easily access the Internet, it’s that they were never taught to Love themselves or what Love is. Their parents (or single mothers) taught them that Love hurts by beating them and ridiculing them. So these hurt people often grow up to hurt others.
