Dallas police released grainy surveillance photos of a Jeep Cherokee connected to the execution-style murder of a 35-year-old pediatric dentist.

Dr. Kandra Hatcher was shot to death as she exited her vehicle in the parking garage of her luxury apartment complex on Wednesday.

Hatcher was found dead at about 7:45 p.m. near her car in the gated garage of the Gables Park 17 complex on Cedar Springs Road. She was wearing her blue medical scrubs when she died.

Surveillance video shows the dark colored older model Jeep entering the gated parking garage behind another vehicle. The Jeep pulled into a parking space and waited.

Moments after Hatcher arrived, a person is seen exiting the Jeep and walking near where Hatcher’s car was parked.

A witnesses told police she heard a gunshot before the person got back into the Jeep and left the garage.

Police have no motive in the execution-style murder.

“We believe the occupant or occupants of that vehicle likely have information related to the offense,” police Maj. Max Geron said.

Gables 17 residents are frightened for their own safety. A guard is now patrolling the Gables 17 parking garage, and police have increased patrols in the area.

Police say the suspect’s Jeep has “damaged or faded paint on its hood and a temporary paper license tag.”

Update: Hatcher started dating her boyfriend “Ricky” in June.

A few days before she changed her dating status in her Facebook profile, she wrote, “Am I ready for this?”

Anyone with information on the Jeep or the suspect is asked to call Detective Eric Barnes at 214-283-4818.
