The Hallmark Channel reunited the cast of ‘The Facts of Life’, including Kim Fields (Tootie), Lisa Welchel (Blair Warner) and Charlotte Rae (Edna Garrett). The ladies caught up and reminisced about life behind the scenes on the set of the popular show which ran from 1979 to 1988.
They reminded the audience that ‘The Facts of Life’ was a spin off from the 1980s sitcom ‘Diff’rent Strokes’.
Rae, 89, played the patient and understanding housekeeper on Different Strokes, which starred Todd Bridges, 50, and deceased cast members Gary Coleman, Dano Plato and Conrad Bain as the wealthy businessman who adopted Todd and Gary after their parents died. Kim Fields played Todd’s girlfriend on the show and off.
According to ATLien from Straightfromthea.com, Bridges is currently working as a game show host on ‘Lovers or Losers’ in Las Vegas. He stopped by the set for a surprise visit with his former young love, Fields.
In the video, Rae, Welchel, 52, and Fields, 46, cook Mexican corn bread and Bridges shares how a random fan punched Fields in the face for “standing next to her boyfriend.”

Here we go? That cover really brings back memories because I had that issue in grade school. For a long time, I saved mine but when I graduated, I just saved the issues with Prince inside. Broke my heart when my fake storage bin got jacked and all those mags and other memorabilia were history. But I still got the Prince vinyl (including the purple).

I was obsessed with Different Strokes & Janet Jackson! Kim was one of the only black child actresses back then & never gets credit for it. Gary Coleman banked at the same bank as me and I ran into him there. But didn’t approach him. He looked like was having a bad day.
