Earlier this week I wrote a post about a confidence artist named LaFranca Devon Hollins. Mr. Hollins has been arrested multiple times for scamming unsuspecting women out of their cash and valuables.
A charmer with a talent for hustling women, Hollins left a trail of victims from Florida to Arizona.
Since Wednesday I have received several emails from people purporting to be his friends or fraternity brothers and sisters. But it seems as if the emails were all composed by the same person.
The emails all have the same central theme: the allegations against him are all lies.
But as one of his victims wrote in the comments section of one of my posts: “He has more mugshots in multiple states than the law allows yet he claims everyone is lying about the same thing.”
Below is one of the emails I received:

“Hello I’m emailing you in response to the post about Lafranca Devon Hollins. Just like any story their are two sides I think it’s finally time to hear from the man I could set this up for you. Being a member of the lambda delta chapter of kappa alpha psi I can clear a lot up about my sand. If you need his lawyers info we can provide this as well the lies must stop here and thank you in advance.”
Also this morning, another one of Hollins’ alleged victims left a comment under this post.
By “alleged victim”, I’m not saying I don’t believe her. It’s just that us bloggers have to use words like “alleged” and “reportedly” to protect ourselves.

“I use to date this guy a long time ago (back in 2000-2001). I met him at the hospital were I worked. He was claiming then to be in the medical field at one of the biggest hospitals in Birmingham working with a Hematology/Oncology doctor and a Kappa from Morehouse. He had only done one semester of college. What he didn’t know is I worked in that very office too and some of my closes friends were Kappa’s. I only got humilated because I bought him around my friends. It turned into a big mess, but I thought when he got married he had turned things around. I was wrong he just got worse.”
