NBA superstar Dwight Howard will suit up for the Atlanta Hawks this upcoming season. Howard and the Hawks agreed to a three-year, $70 million deal, according to Yahoo Sports.
The pouty, tantrum-prone, 6′ 11″ center has settled on the number 8 for his jersey.

8 is also the number of children Howard allegedly sired with a plethora of baby mamas in different area codes.
Despite his claims that he’s a changed man who found Jesus, Howard is best known for his off-the-court drama involving numerous baby mamas and countless children spread throughout the contiguous United States.
At first he only publicly acknowledged his 8-year-old son with ex-dancer and reality star Royce Reed.
Then he admitted siring 4 children — 2 boys and 2 girls — all under age 8.
According to Blacksportsonline.com, the actual number of kids Howard has sired around the country is 8.
Considering the many groupies waiting to service him at home and on the road, it’s easy to see why Howard can’t recall the exact number of kids he sired until he gets the results of DNA tests.
Howard says he doesn’t claim his kids publicly to protect them from the harsh criticism of the judgmental bloggers on social media.
“I know how harsh the Internet and social media can get, and I don’t want to put my kids through that,” he says. “I don’t want them to have to go to school, and kids are like, ‘Your dad did this. He sucks.’ I don’t want them to have to feel that same kind of hate that I have received. But I spend as much time as I can with them, and I truly love and care for them.”
Apparently that love doesn’t extend to his harem of baby mamas.
One woman complained bitterly to the tabloids that Howard constantly stiffs her on child support for their 4-year-old.
A judge ordered him to pay her $10,000 a month. But on his income of $30 million a year including salary and endorsements, he can barely manage to pay her $5,000 a month.
She says she wants it all — so she’s taking him back to court.
