The U.S. Justice Department apologized profusely to CNN (aka the Clinton News Network) after an employee sent out a tweet calling the network a ‘troll’.
The DOJ employee tweeted: “CNN is the biggest troll of them all lmao #petty,” along with a link to a CNN article about Melania Trump’s RNC speech on Monday.
A DOJ spokesperson hastily issued a press release on Tuesday, alleging the employee mistakenly sent the tweet out on the DOJ’s Twitter account instead of their own personal account.
The statement said the staffer’s access to the DOJ’s Twitter account was “revoked” effective immediately.
It’s a well-known fact that left wing CNN favors Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton over the frontrunner Donald Trump.
CNN has bent over backwards to cover up the Clinton’s misdeeds and lawbreaking.
So when the errant tweet went out on Tuesday morning, the DOJ quickly deleted it and issued the swiftest apology in the history of the Obama administration.
The DOJ said:
“…the tweet does not represent the department’s views and was inappropriate for the Department of Justice’s official account.
“The Justice Department takes this matter very seriously and will continue to take the appropriate steps to prevent it from happening in the future.”.
