President George W. Bush and his wife Laura Bush were warm and courteous to then President-elect and his wife Michelle Obama on their first visit to the White House in 2008.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said of the Obamas.
There was no historic photo op of the first couples when President-elect Donald Trump and his wife Melania met with the Obamas at the White House today.
Obama also declined to walk outside to greet the arriving Trumps on the South Lawn, as the Bushes did when they arrived 8 years ago.
