Chance the Rapper‘s younger brother, Taylor Bennett, came out of the closet on Wednesday. Bennett announced he was bisexual in a series of tweets on the social networking site.
The 20-year-old Chicago rapper tweeted:
“My birthday is tomorrow and moving into next year I’d like to be more open about myself to help others that struggle with the same issues Growing up I’ve always felt indifferent about my sexuality and being attracted to one sex and today I would like to openly come out to my fans. I do recognize myself as a bisexual male and I do and have always openly supported the gay community and will keep doing so in 2017.”
Ken Williams-Bennett and his wife Lisa Bennett were busy working parents with high powered careers that, unfortunately, left them little time for their sons.
Mr. Williams-Bennett worked for the mayor of Chicago and later for Barack Obama, while Mrs. Bennett worked for the attorney general.
With their high profile careers keeping them away from home, their talented sons found an outlet in hip hop music.
Chance, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett, has dropped hints to his homosexuality in his music.
No one would be surprised if Chance followed his brother out of the closet.
