A gunman shot three wedding guests during a wedding ceremony at a church in Brazil.
Video footage uploaded to Youtube.com shows the bride and the best man making their way down the aisle at Our Lady of Conception Church. A gunman entered the church behind the bride and paused next to guests sitting in the pews.
After shouting unintelligibly, the man raised his shirt, pulled a handgun from his waistband and shot three guests. As guests fled for their lives, the man strode calmly out the of the church.
The Daily Mail UK reports that the shooter, Umberto Ferreira dos Santos, shot 62-year-old Cicero Barbosa da Silva, his 37-year-old son Edmilson Bezerra da Silva and his wife. Dos Santos reportedly shot the three wedding guests to avenge the death of his son.
Authorities believe Edmilson is the main suspect in the son’s death.
All three victims are expected to recover from their gunshot wounds.
Police are still searching for dos Santos.
