Former Universal Records marketing executive Garnet Reid took his own life in Atlanta. The 47-year-old music industry veteran was found dead inside his Buckhead apartment. He was 47.
Reid is credited with creating marketing campaigns for Drake, Nelly, and Eric Sermon and others. Reid was no longer employed at Universal at the time of his death.
He was reportedly worked as an independent marketer when he died.
