Pop icon Janet Jackson ordered the locks changed on her luxury Trump International apartment in NYC several weeks before her split from Wissam Al Mana.
According to Page Six, Janet asked for the locks to be changed on her Trump pad at 1 Central Park West a few weeks before the news broke that she separated from the 42-year-old Qatari millionaire.
“She wanted the locks changed a few weeks ago, and no keys for him,” the insider told Page Six. Trump International is a 5-star hotel and residence located a few blocks from the infamous Trump Tower landmark on Fifth Avenue.
Jackson listed the apartment for sale years ago, but when there were no takers, she re-listed it as a $35,000 a month rental back in 2014. Page Six reports she hasn’t spent much time in the apartment since marrying Al Mana in 2012.
The UK’s Daily Mail reported that Janet had a hard time adapting to Al Mana’s Middle Eastern culture, even though she converted to Islam in 2012.
Word is that Janet had a difference of opinions when it comes to Muslim men taking multiple wives and concubines.
Janet allegedly arranged to have a baby at age 50 to solidify her status among Wissam’s concubines.
The estranged couple welcomed a son, Eissa Al Mana, in January.
