Rap mogul Drake won the night at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, held in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The 30-year-old Canadian rapper took home 13 trophies — breaking British singer Adele‘s record for winning most Billboard awards in one night.

During one of his many acceptance speeches, Drake seemed to call out BMAs co-host Ludacris.
“You know, I had a close friend of mine that didn’t support my album but then supported other people’s stuff,” Drake said. “And I asked them why, and their response was, ‘I don’t want to look thirsty and you get enough love as it is.’ ”
He then turned to Ludacris and said, “I want to say, Ludacris — I know we haven’t always seen eye to eye but I’ve always been a big fan of yours. I got a lot of love for you. I want to let you know that face to face while I’m still here.”
The strange shout out led many to assume Drake was referring to Luda as the unnamed friend.

He also gave a shout out to former Young Money label mate Nicki Minaj, whom he called “the love of my life.”
“Nicki Minaj, I’m so glad we found our way back because I love you and I could never, ever, ever see it any other way.”
The statement was in reference to their falling out over the public feud between Drake and Nicki’s then-lover Meek Mill in 2015.
